If the OS requires 512MB RAM, and 64MB video card, what does that leave for the applications? This "Aero Glass" just sounds like a complete and total waste of everything.

My questions: 1) Is the Aero suitable for my needs? I'd get a 64MB card with it, so the storage, especially for MP3s, is no issue.But what about the other things? 2) How much better is Windows PocketPC for taking notes over a Palm based machine? With palm, I simply couldn't get certain characters out of it.

... rec photo digital I have been using the 48mb SimpleTech CF card and have had no problems. In fact I called SimpleTech before purchasing it to talk to their technical support on whether or not it was compatible. It was tested as compatible by them and also works great in my Compaq Aero Palm PC.

Except 64mb is the minimum required. 128mb is the more the minimum recommended. I could run it on my ATI mobility radeon x300 w/ 64mb of memory, 512mb of system memory. Of course, I've upgraded system memory since then, but Aero works fine on that configuration.
